Nancy Packes, President
Ms. Packes was President of Feathered Nest, one of Manhattan’s largest rental companies, with approximately 70 people engaged exclusively in residential rentals. Ms. Packes specialized the work of Feathered Nest to residential rentals and created a referral system with real estate colleagues in both the sale and commercial markets. Feathered Nest’s creation of its referral system facilitated the distribution of information for the benefit of both industry professionals and consumers in the absence of a multiple listing system. Ms. Packes sold Feathered Nest in 1998 to the owners of Brown Harris Stevens.
After the sale of Feathered Nest, Ms. Packes focused on the representation of owners in the rental market as a consultant for the design of the building and marketing materials and as an exclusive on-site agent. To date she has handled approximately 40 rental projects.
Beginning in 2005, she formed a partnership with Terra Holdings, the parent company of Brown Harris Stevens, to create Brown Harris Stevens Project Marketing. BHSPM focused solely on on-site sales projects. Under that banner Ms. Packes provided the same broad range of services encompassing design development through sell out.
In 2009 Ms. Packes launched Nancy Packes Inc. Signature Marketing Services her own brand for on-site sales and rental exclusive brokerage. The company’s client list and the duration of those relationships speaks to the level of insight, creativity and excellence of execution that her firm is known for.
Ms. Packes has been twice elected Chairperson of the Ethics Committee and twice elected co-chairperson of the Rental Committee of the Residential Division of the Real Estate Board of New York. She has served as one of seven members of the Board of Directors of the Residential Division of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Seth Rosner, Managing Director
As Nancy’s son, Seth has been immersed in the real estate profession since his teens. He has worked full time for Nancy Packes Inc. for over a decade. He has been the on-site director at five major developments in Manhattan, overseeing the absorption of approximately 1500 homes. As on-site director, he has priced and staffed buildings, overseen the processing of customer contracts, contributed to the creation and implementation of advertising campaigns, guided the day to day operation of the on-site offices and aided in the transition to permanent building staff. Drawing from his experience in the music business, as the founder and director of a prominent New York recording label, Seth brings a unique perspective to the creative process of conceiving a building’s identity and marketing campaign. He has worked with numerous clients of Nancy Packes Inc. in helping to position and craft a distinct identity for their buildings. As Managing Director of Nancy Packes Inc. Seth attends project meetings with Nancy and participates in all aspects of the project from design development through the occupancy of the last home.
Anthony Cekay, Vice President, Marketing and Leasing
Anthony joins the Nancy Packes, Inc. team after serving as a member of the marketing team at 1280 Fifth Avenue. Prior to his tenure with Nancy Packes, Inc. Anthony helped integrate OPERA America’s Professional Opera Survey with Pew Charitable Trusts’ Cultural Data Project, the industry standard tool for financial and operational data collection in the non-profit world. Anthony performs regularly as a saxophonist; has been featured on NPR Music; and is an endorser of Rico Reeds. Anthony also serves as creative director for Page4Music, a podcast series designed to foster discourse within the music industry. Born and raised outside Chicago, Illinois, Anthony holds a master’s degree in jazz performance from The City College of New York and undergraduate degrees in music business and English from The University of Louisville.
Michael Alleyne, Vice President, Director of Communications
Michael Alleyne has been in the industry for the past thirteen years and has worked with Nancy for the past eleven years. As her Executive Assistant, one of Michael’s primary tasks is to put together Halstead Leasing Consultant’s Market Overview; Nancy’s bi-annual rental report, one of the most respected reports in the industry. As Vice President of Nancy Packes Inc, Michael researches and maintains Nancy Packes Inc.’s Manhattan and Brooklyn Project Pipelines. He is also responsible for creating specific comparability reports for new residential development projects.
Matthew Tarpey, Research Associate
Matthew Is in charge of maintaining the Pipeline Database at Nancy Packes Inc. On a daily basis Matthew goes through a number of trade publications and different types of journalism to make sure of the accuracy of the different pipeline entries. Matthew attended Farmingdale State College where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management.
Eric Lord, Research Associate
Eric joins Nancy Packes Inc., after graduating from New York University with an MS in Real Estate, focusing particularly on development. Previous to joining Nancy Packes Inc., Eric worked in roles related to real estate research and finance/investment for ASG Equities.
John Grigoryev, Research Associate
John joined Nancy Packes Inc., after graduating from Stony Brook University with B.S. in Statistics and Psychology. His previous experiences include Lab Research position, Statistical Analyst position and Logistics Management. John’s primary task is to prepare and analyze reports for studies done by Nancy Packes Inc., as well as assisting Ms. Packes in all sorts of matters. John’s hobbies include ballroom dancing, reading and going to movie theaters.
Sahaj Wadhwa, Research Associate
Born into a third generation Indian real estate family, Sahaj has felt a true connection to the real estate industry since a young age, which is how he learned the value of taking care of people and serving their needs. Enhancing this strong service ethic and dedication to clients’ needs is a strong experience of having worked in various verticals in the field: a commercial real estate investment firm, a boutique real estate residential development company, as well as most recently, doing acquisition analysis for an affordable housing company.
Sahaj recently graduated from Schack Institute of Real Estate at NYU, where he learnt the various intricacies of New York real estate by earning his Master’s degree in Real Estate Development. Sahaj is also passionate about boxing, playing squash, and travel. When he is not studying the real estate market, Sahaj likes to run, explore new restaurants, and bike along the Hudson River.
